What is Cinejoy Viewer’s Voice (CVV)?

Cinejoy Viewer’s Voice is a groundbreaking film festival that redefines how festivals work.
Instead of a traditional programming team selecting films, the festival slate is created by filmmakers and members of the Creatics community. Every title represents the passion and creativity of artists from around the world.

What truly makes CVV unique is that the audience becomes the jury. Viewers watch films, vote for their favorites, and directly decide which films rise to the top. Winners receive recognition, prizes, and the opportunity to advance to the Fest of Fests, where top films from each genre compete for the grand honors.

When does the Cinejoy Viewer’s Voice take place?

Each genre within Cinejoy Viewer’s Voice has its own festival window:

CVV Comedy Festival — Nov 6 – 12, 2025
CVV Thriller Festival — Dec 4 – 10, 2025
CVV Doc & Drama Festival — Jan 15 – 21, 2026

CVV Festival of Festivals — Feb 12 – 18, 2026

After these three genre events conclude, the highest-rated films from each category move on to the Fest of Fests, where the top 4 finalists compete for ultimate audience acclaim.

Do I need a Creatics or Cinejoy account to participate?

Yes. A Creatics account is required to securely access, purchase, and stream films.
Each account is linked to a verified email and one user only. Passes and tickets are non-transferable to maintain film security and audience integrity.

How do I buy tickets or a festival pass?

You can purchase either:

1. An Individual Film Ticket, which gives you 48 hours of access from the time you start watching, or

Why do I see a “Buy” button on the film page?

Cinejoy Viewer’s Voice is a ticketed festival. Requiring purchase helps:

• Support the participating filmmakers
• Keep the platform secure and ad-free
• Ensure that only verified, authenticated users can access each film.

Can I watch a film multiple times after purchase?

Yes.

• Single-ticket holders: You can rewatch the film anytime within your 48-hour viewing window.
• Pass holders: You can watch any film as many times as you like until that festival ends.

How do I rate a film?

After you finish watching, click the “Rate” button on the film’s page. You’ll need to be logged in to submit your vote. Each rating contributes to the film’s standing — your choice could shape its journey toward the Fest of Fests, so please rate thoughtfully.

Where can I watch CVV films?

You can watch all Cinejoy Viewer’s Voice films directly on the Cinejoy platform through:

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, one of the world’s most trusted payment platforms. Your information is fully encrypted and never stored on Cinejoy or Creatics servers.

How are films selected for Cinejoy Viewer’s Voice?

Films are nominated and curated by members of the Creatics/Cinequest community — a group of passionate creators, innovators, and past filmmakers. Starting with the next edition, open registration will allow more filmmakers to submit directly.
