What is the Passport?
The Passport is your personal record of the movies, events, and meetups you experience during the Cinejoy Festival. Every time you watch a Showcase film, attend a Spotlight live event, or join a meetup, you earn a Passport Stamp. These stamps appear on your My Passport Profile, which is a fun way to track, collect, and display everything you’ve participated in — almost like a badge of honor for your festival journey.
It’s your creative diary and proof of the unique moments you’ve experienced at Cinejoy.
How do I use it?
You can access your Passport by clicking Passport in the top navigation bar of Cinejoy. Once you’re there, you’ll see your profile photo, your name, and a list of your stamps. Stamps are automatically added as you watch movies or attend events — no need to manually add them. You can also select the festival edition/year to view stamps from past editions.
What is Community Passports?
Community Passports lets you view the Passports of other festival-goers. You can see what films and events others have attended and their ratings on them. It’s a great way to discover films you might have missed, connect with like-minded viewers, and feel part of the Cinejoy community.
You’ll find sections like:
- Trending: Top profiles based on engagement.
- Like-Minded: People who seem to share your tastes.
- New: Recently active participants.
Why does this matter?
The Passport isn’t just a fun feature — it’s designed to help you:
- Keep track of what you’ve experienced.
- Discover what others are watching and recommending.
- Build a sense of connection with other fans, artists, and creators.
- Collect and show off your unique Cinejoy journey.
