1. What are Showcase Movies?
Showcase Movies are a curated collection of films featured during the Cinejoy Festival, available for you to watch on your own schedule. Unlike the live Spotlight events, Showcase films are available on-demand throughout the festival window (March 24–31, 2026). You can browse Showcase selections by emotion, genre, features, and shorts. This is your chance to enjoy world-class films before they hit general release—right from the comfort of your home.
2. How do I find and explore Showcase films?
Just head over to the Showcase section on Cinejoy https://creatics.org/cinejoy/showcase where you can explore films by Emotion, Genre, Features, and Shorts. Each movie page includes a synopsis, trailer, cast & crew, and even behind-the-scenes or award recognition if applicable.
3. How do I watch a Showcase film?
You’ll need to be logged into Creatics. You can either purchase an individual ticket for a film or unlock them all with the All-Access Pass. Once you buy a ticket or pass, simply go to the movie’s page and press the Watch button.
4. What is the Watchlist?
Passholders can begin adding Showcase movies to their Watchlist before the festival even begins. This lets you build a personalized lineup and jump in as soon as the festival starts. The Watchlist is a passholder-only feature and is a great way to keep track of what you’re excited to watch.
5. Can I watch trailers before deciding?
Yes! Most Showcase films come with a trailer and teaser. Just click into the movie’s detail page and explore its content — trailers, special features (usually the introduction about the film), cast lists, and more.
6. How long do I have to watch a movie once I buy it?
Once you start a Showcase movie, you can keep watching it until the end of the festival. Just make sure to finish it within that window, access will expire afterward.
7. Do I need to rate the film?
Yes, please! Your rating helps the film gain visibility and recognition. Ratings contribute to awards announced at the end of the festival. You’ll see the Rate button below the video — click it once you've watched to support the filmmakers.
