How do I watch on my TV using screensharing or mirroring?
You can use the following methods:
Chromecast:
- Cast from your browser or mobile device to your Chromecast-enabled TV.
- Follow your Chromecast device instructions.
AirPlay:
- Share your screen from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to your TV.
- Use your device’s AirPlay controls to mirror your screen.
Do I need a Cinejoy/Creatics account?
Yes. You must sign in with your Cinejoy/Creatics account to access purchased tickets, passes, or events.
Do I need to buy a ticket or pass to access it on Apple TV App?
Yes. To watch any film or event, you need an individual ticket or an All-Access Pass.
Purchase on the web at Creatics.org/cinejoy, then log into the Apple TV app or your browser. Your access will appear automatically.
How do I watch my purchased films/events on TV?
On Apple TV:
- Open the app → sign in → go to the film/event → click “Watch”
On other TVs using casting:
- Log into Creatics.org/cinejoy → play the film → cast/mirror to your TV.
Is the viewing window the same everywhere?
Yes. The festival dates and time limits are identical whether you watch on Apple TV, web, mobile, or via casting.
What browsers are supported?
Cinejoy works best on Chrome, Safari, and Edge.
- Firefox can be used to browse, but not recommended for film playback.
- For best results: Safari on iOS, Chrome/Edge on desktop.
Is there a mobile app for Creatics/Cinejoy?
Yes. You can explore films, manage your account, and access your festival experience through the Creatics mobile app.

Can I still use the website on my phone?
Absolutely. Cinejoy is mobile-friendly and allows you to watch movies, browse, and manage your Watchlist from your phone’s browser.
Does the Cinejoy app work on Roku, TCL, Sony, or FireTV?
Not yet. The Cinejoy app currently works exclusively on Apple TVOS. You can still watch on these TVs using screensharing or Chromecast.
Can I use screensharing on all devices?
Most modern smartphones, laptops, and tablets support screensharing or mirroring. Make sure both your device and TV are on the same WiFi network.
